37 Inch LCD TV

For home purposes, the 37 inch LCD TV is considered to be a very appropriate size. It is not too small to qualify for a computer screen and it is not too big to seem as though it belongs in a cinema hall. Though a 37 inch LCD TV may not be what people are looking for when they are planning to have a home theater (at least a 42 inch would likely be more appropriate for that), but still it has a lot of demand in homes.

There’s also the matter of the price to be considered. When you are buying an LCD television, every inch counts; most times causing a jump of hundreds of dollars in price. Therefore, you have to buy the size that will be the most affordable to you.  

The fact is that 37 inches for an LCD television is a very good compromise between your desire and your affordability. These 37” LCD televisions generally start from $600 and go up to over $1000, but you could buy used models that cost significantly lesser. 

When you are buying these 37” LCD TVs, it is not the visual quality that must matter to you, you have to also check the sound. Most of them have built in speakers. Ask to check their quality. Some of the popular brands on the market today include the Vizio and Toshiba 37 inch LCD TVs.  

Some of them have USB connections which allow you to connect USB devices such as digital cameras and portable hard disks directly on these televisions so that the television can read and display those images. Check for such features. They will make your life easier. 

The one thing you must keep in mind is to get the 37” LCD TV first, and a good one at that, and all the additions it would need can be bought later. That could include a good DVD player, a set of good floor and rear speakers, etc. But since all these things revolve around the television, the first thing is to have the television. A 37 inch LCD TV should be good enough for apartments if you want to have a good system set up within the home.
